The law firm of MichieHamlett is pleased to announce that our partner, Bryan Slaughter, was recently installed as the President of the Virginia Trial Lawyers Association (VTLA).  He will succeed outgoing President Lee Livingston, a veteran medical malpractice and personal injury litigator also with MichieHamlett.

“Having back-to-back Presidents is a virtually unprecedented honor. Bryan’s emphasis on providing his clients with outstanding representation in complex cases and also on pro bono initiatives will continue our firm’s tradition of service and giving back to the profession and society,” said Livingston.

MichieHamlett family law attorney Jason Seiden was also installed as Chair of the VTLA Family Law Section. Among his other duties as Chair, Seiden will continue teaching Continuing Legal Education (CLE) courses for VTLA members.

Slaughter’s installation marks the sixth time a member of MichieHamlett will serve as president of a statewide bar association.
